XOstudio FLOWERS is a floristry studio based in Chișinău, where unique bouquets are created, inspired by nature. This time, the inspiration came from Mount Peleaga (2509 m) – the highest peak of Romania’s western mountain range, located in Retezat National Park. Our team climbed to the summit to raise the brand’s flag and remind everyone that beauty can be found even in the harshest mountain conditions.
While spring is in full swing in the cities of Moldova and Romania, winter still reigns in the Carpathians. Snow all around, thick fog shrouds the precipitous slopes where the story of the ascent of a team of four people led by Andrei Elistratov, the “mountain ambassador” of XOstudio FLOWERS, begins.
We started on green spring slopes, surrounded by murmuring streams and coniferous forests. But just a few hours later, we found ourselves in a kingdom of cold. Steep climbs and a piercing wind tested our endurance. In such conditions, the majesty of the world and a profound inner uplift are felt with striking clarity.
And suddenly, among the snow drifts, from under the crust of ice, we saw a miracle – delicate purple crocuses. This turned out to be the strongest motivator and source of joy at that moment.
For us, at XOstudio FLOWERS, flowers are something wonderful, something that can inspire us to do something. This is what we are guided by, assembling bouquets of fresh flowers that give warmth, light and emotions even on the coldest days.
On the top of Peliaga, we proudly placed two flags – the Republic of Moldova and the snow-white banner of XOstudio FLOWERS. This moment became another point in the geography of our brand after the Himalayas, Etna volcano, Kilimanjaro: the XOstudio flag is at the peak again! For us, it is a symbol of our constant striving for growth.
